This Disclaimer is part of our Terms of Service. If anything here conflicts with the Terms, the Terms control. Capitalised words have the meaning given in the Terms.

1. User content

Photos, captions, comments, profiles and collections are posted by users. They are the responsibility of the person who posted them and do not reflect the views of Collectwall. We do not review content for ownership, accuracy or legality before it is published, we don't endorse it, and we are not responsible for it. Automatic checks and human review may miss things and may also flag content by mistake.

2. No affiliation

Collectwall is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any airline, airport, aircraft manufacturer, air force, government agency or aviation authority, unless an account shows our official badge, which only confirms that the account belongs to that organisation. Names, logos, liveries and other marks belong to their owners and are used only to identify what appears in a photo.

3. Information may be wrong

Aircraft registrations, types, manufacturers, operators, airports, countries, dates, stats, fleet sizes, badges and rankings come from users, public datasets and automated tools. They may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Nothing on the Service is an official record. Don't rely on it for any legal, commercial, operational, safety, insurance or investment decision.

4. Not professional advice

Nothing on the Service is aviation, safety, legal, financial or other professional advice, and nothing on it should be used for flight planning, air navigation or the operation or maintenance of any aircraft.

5. Spotting and photography at your own risk

• You alone decide where and how you take photos. You are responsible for knowing and following the law, airport rules, police instructions, private property rules, and airspace and drone rules wherever you are.
• In some countries photographing military aircraft, bases, government sites or airport security areas is restricted or a crime. Collectwall does not encourage or ask anyone to photograph anything, to enter restricted areas, or to break any law, and is not responsible for what happens to you or others while taking photos.
• Spotting near runways, roads and fences carries physical risks. Stay in safe, public places. Collectwall is not liable for any injury, loss, fine or arrest.
• If sharing where a photo was taken could put you or others at risk, choose "Undisclosed location" when you upload.

6. Copies and sharing outside Collectwall

Anything you make public can be viewed, screenshotted and shared by others, including outside the Service. The attribution strip and our rules discourage misuse, but we cannot prevent or control copying by third parties and are not responsible for it. Rights holders should act against infringers directly; we will help by following our Copyright Policy for content on the Service.

7. Availability and data loss

The Service may change, be interrupted or stop, and content may be lost, altered or removed, with or without notice. Always keep your own original photos. We are not responsible for any loss of content, followers, stats, badges or visibility.

8. Members' features

Paid plans add features such as more upload slots, themes, covers, flags, badges and collection layouts. They do not guarantee any number of views, likes or followers, any position on the home page or in suggestions, or any income.

9. Links and third parties

Profiles and comments may link to other websites, and the Service uses third-party providers. We don't control them and are not responsible for their content, products, security or privacy practices.

10. Limits of our responsibility

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and all content are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty, and Collectwall is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service or any content, as described in sections 11 and 12 of the Terms of Service. Some places don't allow certain exclusions; in those places our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law allows.
